Now that's what I call safety!

Safety can be just as important as getting the job done correctly, and in today's world, you can never be too safe. Here are some of the steps the Buschur Electric company is following in order to keep the jobsites safe and liability issues at a minimum, we would like to share our procedures with you!

Safety:

   A) Written certified safety plan reviewed and updated on an annual basis. A copy of the plan is
       located in every company truck, trailer and gang box.

   B) A certified (40 hour) OSHA Safety Officer - Doug Schulze

   C) Mandatory weekly Tool Box Talk review sheets

   D) Mandatory quarterly safety meetings

   E) Lock out/Tag out kits and training

   F) 20 Cal/CM2 arc flash suits and training

   G) Safety glasses furnished

   H) Mandatory safety shoes

   I) Ear protection furnished

   J) Safety harnesses and lanyards program

   K) If we were issued a copy of your company's safety program, it is copied with our program and
       located in every company truck, trailer and gang box

   L) Certified CPR training as mandated

   M) Certified first aid training as mandated

   N) NFPA 70E Training and PPE gear

Drug Free Workplace:

   A) Written certified drug free workplace program

   B) Mandatory random drug testing and post accident drug testing

   C) Mandatory 6 hour training for every employee and annual follow up training

OSHA Hazard Communication Program

   A) Written certified hazard communication program

   B) Annual update of hazmat program

   C) Contains all required MSDS sheets of our materials

   D) Hazmat program and MSDS sheets are located on all company trucks, trailers and gang boxes

Fire Extinguisher Program

   A) Extinguishers located on all company trucks, trailers and gang boxes

   B) Monthly inspection of all company fire extinguishers as required by OSHA

   C) Yearly inspection of all company fire extinguishers by a certified technician as required by OSHA

Equal Employee Opportunity Program

   A) Written certified EEO program

   B) Submit form I-29 to the state on a monthly basis

   C) Employees sign a compliance letter monthly

   D) We have our compliance certificate on file

Workers Compensation Program

   A) Drug free workplace program

   B) Transitional work program

   C) 10 step business plan

   D) Compliance certificate on file

These are just some of the programs we have in place to help our employees and customers continue to have a safe and compliant workplace.

The Buschur Electric company is also fully licensed and bonded. We can also offer specific bonding for any project that you may need bonded.

We offer 24 hour emergency service with our automated telephone and cell phone system.
